After a walk through the picturesque cobble streets of Kardamyli (650m), do not miss to visit the Old Town & Upper Kardamyli (1.4 km), a fortified settlement of well-preserved tower-houses, which are some of the finest examples of Maniot architecture. Another must-see in the area is the Patrick Leigh Fermor’s house (1.4 km), the well-known travel writer. You will be able to see one of the most beautiful houses, built in local architecture.

Representing the southern edge of the Balkan peninsula, Cape Tenaro (75 km) is definitely a visit-worthy place. The most famous story about it was the rumor of being the gate to the Underworld.
